Exit the door to the right of the switch and kill the Brains and Gunners. Collect the Armor Shards and health and shoot at the panel to the lower left of the doorway with the illuminated yellow lines. It will open up to uncover another secret - Body Armor. Step on the platform and push the button to ride it to the surface.
